Because life was born
of appetites' demand
whose predatory laws
put children at risk
longing for the power
to build a fine castle
free of the hunger
and degradation
if peasants persuade
to shun resistance
but tramp to cities
for paid compensation
at imperial wars
of religious faith
on the low road
to World economy
if workers maneuver
to decent remuneration
dreaming retirement
in much better health,
are sins forgiven
since everyone arrives
long after the fact
of global creation?
