In 2001, to honor Leon's 50th year raising registered Horned Dorsets,
the Cassell Family had a painting done of Leon with his first Horned Dorset.
Pat Lemkuhl, Rural Retreat, VA, did the painting.
Leon purchased Susie and her lamb at the Eastern Stud Ram and Ewe Sale, Staunton, VA,
in 1951.
