Our Fourth Pack Meeting and Christmas Party
We had a fantastic turnout for this years Pack 177 Christmas Party held on 17 December at MUMC. Thank-you to all who participated by preparing delicious snacks and desserts and to those who helped with the set-up and clean-up. For those who couldn't make it, there was a lot of great food to be enjoyed and Christmas carols to be sung. The dens competed in a competition to see who could be the fastest team to outfit Santa for his upcoming important mission (by drawing Santa's gear on a life size representation of the Jolly Old Elf).
Scouting for Food
The recent Scouting for Food campaign was a great success. Over ONE-THOUSAND pounds of food was collected by the Pack! All of the collected items were donated to the Seven Loaves mission located in Middleburg. This food will help feed numerous families throughout the surrounding area. A special thanks goes out to the Wolves who brought in more food than any other Den. We'll overlook the fact that they also have the largest number of scouts.
Marshall Christmas Parade
The annual Marshall Christmas Parade was held on Saturday, the 1st of December this year. The weather was quite pleasant, although not exactly the kind that makes one begin to dream of winter and Christmas - it was in the 70s!. One of our adult volunteers snapped a few pictures of the event and has provided copies to be scanned and uploaded to the site. To view these photographs from the parade, click here.
