I was first introduced to Pink Floyd by my friend Matt, whose brother had a bunch of Floyd CDs lying around. He played "One Of These Days," "Echoes," "Dogs," and "One Slip"--I was instantly hooked. I must have been about 13, and I borrowed all the Floyd CDs he had and listened to them eagerly, playing them over and over. Animals became my favorite album because of the powerful imagery of the lyrics and Dave Gilmour's master guitar work on "Dogs", as well as the funky drums of "Pigs" and the mellow keyboards on "Sheep". I also loved the album cover so much I had to get a 6 foot poster for my wall. When I asked my friend about the pig on the cover, he said "It's so you look at the cover 5 years after buying it and say, 'oh, cool, there's a pig up there'."
