KEARNEY GENEALOGY PAGE

There's a dear little plant that grows in our isle

'Twas Saint Patrick himself sure that set it

And the sun on his labor with pleasure did smile

And a tear from his eyes oft-times wet it

It grows through the bog, through the brake,

through the mireland

And they call it the dear little Shamrock of Ireland

A THOUSAND WELCOMES!

I haven't done too much research on this family; so, unfortunately, I do not have their dates of birth. Conor KEARNEY, of Carrowduff, Co. Roscommon, Ireland, married Bridget KEEGAN, also of Carrowduff. All of their children were born in Carrowduff, as well. The date of 02 Feb 1867, which is the date of birth of Thomas HUGHES (husband of Maria / Moriah / Mary KEARNEY) will have to serve as a reference date. If you are researching this family, or if you have any additional information about them, I would appreciate hearing from you. Please fill out the form below, or contact me at my e-mail address:

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back,

the sun shine warm upon your fields,

and until we meet again may God

hold you in the hollow of His hand.
