Below is something a friend wrote. He let me take liberties with it to remember Granny's faith and life. I wanted to share it with you.

My life one earth is all complete and now I have entered that beautiful gate. The road was long and often hard to travel, but I just took my time and enjoyed the beauty along the way. You’d be surprised how many nuggets of life I found in my journey here below. But all that beauty can’t compare with the splendor of heaven so fair. The streets are of gold and the mansions stand in splendor so grand. The flowers are so lovely, all planted by the Master’s hand, continually bloom in this everlasting land.
I loved the Lord with all my heart and that’s where I got my start. You see I went to church all my life and trusted Christ as Savior and Lord. I knew the importance of being saved. I enjoyed the singing. The tenderness of solos often made me weep, but there was nothing to compare with the congregation singing so sweet.
Life was special to me. I loved planting flowers and working in the garden too. There is something beautiful about seeing a plant take root, begin to grow and then produced some fruit. It reminded me of God's Word: for you see I knew that if I'd give others the gospel they too could be saved and produce fruit for Christ.
When it came to family, mine was the best, and they knew I loved them far beyond the rest. Holidays were so wonderful, when all the family gathered in, we’d have the best time of fellowship, laughter and fun. Every moment was a reflection of God’s love to me when He gave His Son to set me free.
Don’t worry about me now, for I am in heaven with all my loved ones dear. But I want to tell you one thing before we say "good bye ". Trust the Lord and be saved so I can see you again on resurrection day. Well, there’s a table waiting for me, it’s spread with the best and I give you an invitation to join me with the rest. The Father is the Master and He is at the head, next to Him is Jesus the one who rose from the dead. All I can say is I love you still so learn to trust the Father’s will. He knows best so walk with Him and you too will win. To all my family and friends, I’ll be watching to see you turn the bend. I’m with JESUS, so look to Him then you’ll know I loved you so.
