While doing a site visit to update floor plans I spoke with a woman whom works in the Esquire Club. This witness informed me that she used to work in the hotel before it became a Radison Suite Hotel, and that she has heard rumor of a ghost of a street walker that used to take her gentlemen callers to rooms in the hotel. Apparentley what happened was one night after turning a trick, she asked the man to pay her and he said he didn't have any money so she started fighting with him and calling him names, He entered the hall and she proceded to jump on him and slap him. The man got tired of this and pulled out a gun, and shot her leaving her bloody body lying on the floor. needless to say the lady died where she fell and the gentlemen got away without ever having charges pressed upon him. Now this witness also informed me that her sister used to work at a club down the street from the Ben Lomond and came in one night after she got of work to pick up her sister (the one telling me this story) so she came to the Esquire in her uniform (consisting of a mini dress and some revealing cloths) and all the guys sitting at the bar started giving her a hard time and saying she looked like the woman that was shot turning tricks upstairs and that she would see this ghost because she looked similar to her and whenever people talked about her (the ghost) she would appear to them sometime that night. Now this sister didn't approve of the antics of the men at the bar so she said I'm going to use the restroom. She came out later very startled and upset, and when asked what was wrong she said I heard someone moving papers around in there while I was using the restroom but when I looked out from my stall there was no one there.

O.G.H.O. doesnt know if this "spirit" is trully still at the Ben Lomond or not but we will look into it further and put any new information we gather here for you to check out.
