Why create the
ScopeLight
website?
During my years as a student at the University of Texas at Austin [1999-2002], I decided to put together an astronomy website that could be updated to include some of my equipment reviews, observing sessions, and trips to West Texas. As an ongoing project, I plan to write a book on observing the Milky Way in both hemispheres. All articles/images on this site are copyright 2000-2005 by Steve Foltz except where mentioned. Use without the prior written consent of the author is strictly prohibited.

what's new
11/27/2005 - Ordered a Takahashi FCL-90 f/5.6 fluorite doublet refractor with feathertouch focuser, camera angle adjuster, protective objective filter, and William Optics 2" 90° Erecting Prism for correct image observing. Review to follow shortly! I'll also be updating this website over the next few months and completing some of the unfinished articles. Thanks for checking back! |
