This is a little bit of a drive, but well worth it. The drive is approximately 209-30 min. form UCO. (The drive is prefect for anyone who has or loves motorcycles). Take an evening ride out to Okarche to Oklahoma's oldest bar. Eischen's Bar has arguibly the best fried chicken in the state. While the chicken is heavenly the atmosphere is even more enjoyable. The bar has fabulous selection of music an their classic juke box. Eischen's has two pool tables to play before or after dinner. On a crowded night you get the experience how friendly Okie's really are because in the back room dinning tables are shared by fellow customers.
** On Thurs. --> Sat. nights there is always a wait so make sure you aren't hungry before you leave Edmond.
*** Mon. --> Wed. nights would be an ideal time to go if it is your first date with someone! The bar is less crowded making it easier to have conversations.
Galileo Bar & GrillThis is a date with true ambiance. Galileo Bar & Grill is located in the quaint artsy Paseo District or northwest Oklahoma City. THis is a diate with many angles. In the Paseo District you can go shopping, look at art, or listen to live music. Start out by checking out some of the ecletic art galleries like Studio Six, or Kay Orr. Then browse around in one of the several cool funky shops. Afterwards at Galileo's you can jam to live music. This is a wonderful place to become aquainted to Oklahoma's artist community!
** Not for the homophobic, although anyone who does not enjoy this date is not worthy to date.

This is a perfect date for anyone who is one a budget. YOu will need a blanket and your dates favorite fast food. YOu could prepare a picnic basket, but the mystery of what you are going to do is gone once they see the picnic basket in the back of the car! Remember being romantic is about the element of suprise. Alright the date is picnicing around the Crystal Bridge, and then walking off that (Del Rancho) when you check out all of the tropicla plants, adn exotic birds in the Crystal Bridge. THis is a wonderful date because there is way more to Downtown than Bricktown. It is a beautiful area that does not get taken advantage of enough. Enjoy everday to the fullest, get out of the movie theater.
** If you still can't stand to get out of the cave known as AMC then look for the historic movie theater in Shawnee!! Hey they have 50 cent cokes.
