Commandments and Promises of God

Sacrifice:
~~~~~~~~~~
Sacrifice means giving to the Lord whatever he requires of our time, our earthly possessions, and our energies to further his work. The Lord commended, "Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness" ( Matthew 6:33) Our willingness to sacrifice is an indication of our devotion to God. People have always been tried and tested to see if they will put the things of God first in their lives.
Up until the time of Christs atoning sacrifice blood sacrifices were practiced. Though they have ended, the Lord still asks us to sacrifice. But now he requires a different kind of sacrifice.
The apostle Paul wrote that we should become living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God.(Romans 12:1) If we are to be a living sacrifice, we must, if asked, be willing to give everything we have for the Lord and his kingdom. Even unto the giving of our very lives if need be.
Only through sacrifica can we become worthy to live in the presence of God. Only through sacrifice can we enjoy eternal life. Many who have lived before us have sacrificed all that they had. If we look around we can see many examples of people who have made great sacrifices in the Lords behalf.
Are you willing to make those sacrifices that you are called upon to make?

I have read about how other people has e-mailed for
special prayer and had miraculous results. I pray I
will also. Please pray for my son and I. My husband
has become mean spirited and told our teenage son to
leave even though he does not have the money to get
his own place. He filled with a spirit of domination
and jealousy again me an our son. I have been called
to the ministry and he does everything to discourge
and belittle me. Please pray that God will move in
this situation and do something to change my husband's
heart. I cannot continue to live with him, the way he
has become. It is hard just to keep from hating him
now and I never want to feel that about anyone.

Please I would like you to pray with me concerning my husband's travelling plans that God would expedite the processing of his visa so he can leave the country latest end of this month (May). I know our God is able because He said in Psalm 50:15 that we should call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver us.

I have to go into the hospital for angioplasty on my renal artery,please pray that God will steady this doctor's hand and that all will go well . I am praying this will bring down my blood pressure which is out of control.

soon. Things are closing in - the lack of a regular
income, age-related illnesses worsening with lack
of timely medical attention, depression that tells
on the online efforts, lack of funds to make the
moves necessary...I'm holding on Lord, I know
you are there right now and you'll be there always,
but I can't transfer my faith to others so please

Please keep me in your prayers. I am a 40 year old woman facing my 3rd surgery within 2 years to have melanoma removed. Pray for me for in the name of Jesus Christ, my savior, to remove this deadly skin cancer and for it to never return again. Ask God almighty to guide the surgeon’s hand that he will be able to remove all of it this time and for me to have total healing. Many thanks.

“WE SAW THE NEPHILIM THERE (THE DESCENDANTS OF ANAK COME FROM THE NEPHILIM).”
WOULD SOME KINDLY BIBILICAL SCHOLAR BE ABLE TO SHED MORE LIGHT ON THE NEPHILIM . THE APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN GIANTS. BUT WERE THEY THE ROMANS HERO/GODS REFERRED TO SUCH ARE HERCULES, BACCHUS ETC.,?

It's A Miracle

Look Up"
There was a very tumultous time in my life a few years ago when I wasn't sure what was the right thing to do and what was not. I had been married to a man who had started beating me on a regular basis. If he had a bad day at work, I got a beating. If someone made him angry at church, I got a beating. Even if he was having a good day, I would get a beating just as a reminder that I was still under his control.
I lived this way for a long time. Until my son was three months old, to be exact. My 'husband' had come home from a night of partying with his friends and started slapping me around. (He was always more violent when he was liquored up.) For a long time he hit me and burned me with cigarette butts and poured beer over my head. I just kept wondering to myself why God would let someone get away with those kinds of things. I asked that question many times and heard no reply.
Shortly after his attacking me, my husband passed out in the floor of our bedroom. I peeped around the corner to see him sprawled out in the floor and I was disgusted that a human being could sink so low as to lay their hands on another person.
Once again, I asked God how he could just let someone treat me this way.
Then, very quietly, I heard the answer that changed my whole life. In the back of my mind I heard a voice say calmly "I have given you the power to walk away. You choose to stay."
Then, I felt like a real moron. All this time, it had never occurred to me that I could just leave. So, I did. I packed mine and my son's things and we sped away while Ben slept.
I started feeling guilty about just running away. As soon as I began feeling guilty my car had a flat tire. There was just a really loud POP and then the sound of my rims scraping the road. It just so happened that I had to pull into a church parking lot to avoid being hit by another vehicle.
I was on the verge of tears thinking that this was God's way of telling me to give Ben another chance. I was tired of the pain and tears that I had already been put through so the idea of God wanting me to keep on living that way was very depressing to me.
Then, again very quietly, I heard a little voice say "Look up." So, I looked up. There was a sign right above me that read,'God will see you safely down any road you may have to walk.' I was supposed to keep on going.
God wanted to reassure me that this was what I needed to do. It was his way of telling me that although things would be better, they were still going to be tough. But, after I saw that sign and a feeling of relief washed over me, I picked up my son's carseat, his diaper bag and I set out walking to my nearest relative's house ten miles away.
I never looked back and I made the ten-mile trip in just under two hours. I never got tired, and I never increased my speed. I knew I was not alone.
I am currently working a great job and my life is on track. My ex-husband is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
