CONROE

GOOD. Stained; 84 degrees; 1.21 feet low. Catfish are being caught in 15-25 feet of water using liver or shrimp in a baited hole. Hybrids are blowing up on topwater chasing bait, as well as on humps in 17-24 feet of water. Crappie are hit or miss. Having to hit many spots, you might get 2-3 fish per spot, finding them in 13-21 feet of water on structure using black and chartreuse or sho Nuff with crappie nibble or minnows. Black bass are good in 6-15 feet of water following the baitfish. Early morning topwater bite with shad pattern square bills, switching to crankbaits later in the morning. Remember to always wear your life jacket.
