A few pickup lines you probably don't want to use
Yur purtier than a newborn heffer!
Yur purtier than a new set of snow tires!
Wow! My moms got some curtains like that dress.
The following are mostly a compilation from ideas, or things my friends, family, and I have done, or just come up with, hopefully you will find these useful:
Movies, with a twist!
Drive in movie, yeah, I know what you're thinking, there isn't one around here. That doesn't matter, with this idea it won't matter. Listed below are the items you need for this date:
You can either do this first part on your own or have your dates help, but it may take a few hours to build your setup, so allow plenty of time. First thing you do is get an idea of what kind of car you want (hopefully your starting to get the idea). With the markers, mark out how you want your "car" to look (the box). Then Start cutting. I found that it was easier to cut circles later and tape the "tires" on. Make sure your chairs will fit in your car. You could also have it a longer car (Limo), and you could all be in the same car. But sometimes it's just funner to have your own car. Then with your seats in your car, you need to set up the TV where it's viewable from all the cars, or move the cars to where they can all see the TV. Any you are ready! Oh yeah, it makes it more fun if you make your car functional, but it takes a lot more time. For example..... A working hood with some type of engine in it (cardboard or not). A functioning door, so you can open it for your date. Or any other creative ideas you may have.
Movie up the canyon, Well, for us this one had a slight difference, but luckily we planned pretty well for it:
Hopefully this one is pretty self explanitory, set up the tent or shelter (maybe just a tarp between trees) and then set up the TV. Throw all the blankets and pillows in the tent or shelter. If you have just a tarp cover, you may want one for the floor too. Thats Pretty much it, you're ready. Just always remember. If it does rain or snow, remember, don't touch the top of the tent!!! That's what finally finished our date, water started flooding in from where one of the dates touched it. We eventually got the TV and VCR and Generator back in the vehicles and just took the poles down on the tent, and left the tent untill the next day and dug it out in the light. We did loose a few soda pops cause the snow got so deep, but it was fun anyway.
Dinner, A little different
Utensils, for this one a good dish is spagetti, here's what you will need:
Basically what you do is have a regular dinner, but no regular utensils, like forks, spoons, or knives. Make sure you put on the old shirt, apron, or cut a hole in the garbage bag for your head and put that on. Eat. And most important, have fun.
Misc, Just different things
Fish tank, Just read it.......
Give everyone a piece of construction paper, or cardboard. Have everyone draw a fish and cut it out. If you cut a slot in the middle you can slide a piece of paper or cardboard through and make fins to make it three dimensional. After that paint or color the fish. Whats fun to do is if you have a blacklight bulb in the cover for the fish tank you can use flourescent colors and paint the fish with that so they glow. Once you have accomplished and they are dry, you can tape a piece of thread to each one, use different lengths for each, and then attach it to the top. Put the small fan in the bottom and turn it so it brings the fish to life
More to come.....
