In July 2002, the current Salt Lake City population was recorded as 181,266. This makes Salt Lake a busy and booming metropolis. It offers great diversity in choice for cuisine, shopping, and entertaiment. It was also the site for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Whether you are a native Utahan or simply a visitor from out of town, there is always something fun and interesting to do.
In 1996 the state of Utah celebrated its 100th birthday. That's 100 years of bringing curiosity and invention to the rest of the United States and the World. Happy Birthday Utah!
