Elf Wood is nestled in the hills of Virginia. A place of healing horses physical and spiritual wounds of horses and people. Long ago, before man used horses for his labors, he hunted them for meat. The horse was known as the hunter, no as the hunted. Man then began to take horses and use them for riding, abuse them and use them for work. The bond between man and animal would be forever fragile, for the fear man had struck into their hearts is too deep to be dislodged.
