The puppy you are purchasing is of PET QUALITY. (I do not show dogs & although a show puppy may very likely come from my dogs due to the champion blood lines, I can't say if a puppy will be show quality.) Therefor - Seller does not represent this puppy to be a potential show dog. Buyer understands additional care will be needed to insure health & well-being of their new puppy.
HEALTH
Seller states the puppy you are purchasing is healthy at the time of sale. For purpose of this agreement, once the puppy leaves the seller's premises, it is under buyer's control. Notice of ANY problem with said puppy must be recieved within 48 HOURS in the mannor described below.
1. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a reputable veterinarian ( currently practicing & in good standing with the veterinary oversight groups ) within 48 HOURS from the time of purchase & to have the Veterinary Examination Report completed by the attending veterinarian. This report must be returned to the seller immediately following the examination. Failure to return the written report within 24 hours of the exam invalidates this contract. (MUST be postmarked within 24 hrs. of exam) If this veterinarian establishes a MAJOR problem ( internal, external parasites & kennel cough excluded) with the puppy upon intial examination, puppy may be returned at this time. Seller reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian of seller's choice, before exchange is made.
(Arrangement for the return of the puppy must be made within 6 hours of the veterinary exam. At buyer's expense.)
2. Puppy is guaranteed for 48 HOURS from date & time of purchase against infectious diseases such as Parvo or Distemper.
3. Puppy is guaranteed for three months from the date of purchase against genetic defects.
4. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the pet owner as are all shipping cost's if applicable.
RETURN OF A PUPPY
Seller will consider a replacement puppy only if the conditions detailed in the "Health" section are met. If the puppy has not visited the Veterinarian as agreed, within the 48 hour time frame, and Seller immediately following the exam has not recieved the Vet Exam Report, NO exchange will be considered.
1. To return a puppy, notify us by phone prior to return. The original veterinary report & registration papers must be presented with the puppy.
2. Buyer will be given a replacement puppy of comparable size & value, if possible. ( If replacement puppy is not available at this time, Buyer will be given a document for a puppy & notified IMMEADIATELY when a comparable puppy is available.) ALL exchanges are limited to a puppy of the same value or purchase price of the puppy.
3. In the event of death of the puppy within the 48 hour guarantee period, Buyer will take the deceased pup to a vet of his/her choice for the pourpose of an autopsy at Buyer's expense. The deceased pup must be returned with a statement from the veterinarian setting forth cause of death. A vet of Seller's choice to verify cause of death will then examine the deceased puppy. Assuming the two veterinarians agree the puppy died of natural causes of a warrantable condition, a replacement puppy will be provided to the buyer.
However, if trauma or neglect is found to play a role in the demise of the pup in ANY manner or fashion, then no exchange of puppy or monies will be forthcoming. Additionally, Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless for such. Puppies are not exchanged for any other reason.
4. If you live in an apartment complex, or any other residence that may restrict pets, you are affirming that you have recieved permission from the proper authority for this puppy.
5. Seller makes no guarantees, or warranties regarding the puppy. This document represents the final, total, & complete agreement between Buyer & Seller.
