6-7-03: Taped rear window and finished sanblasting area around trunk edge. Also blasted most of the area around the rear window. I need to retape the bottom of the window and blast the area below the window. There is a little rust in that region and the sandblaster wants to blow the tape off of the window. Finished stripping paint from bottom of trunk lid, and began to strip paint on the bottom of the hood. Found some rust around rear wheel-wells that needs to be sandblasted from the inside of the car. It shouldn’t be too hard, but will take time to fix.

6-5-03: Sandblasted more on area around trunk edge. Had to stop because the back window wasn’t taped up and I was afraid of damaging the window with the sandblaster. Removed more paint on bottom of trunk lid.

5-30-03: Cleaned out trunk area and inside of car. Found a lot of parts we didn’t know we had. Removed trunk lid and started sandblasting area around trunk lid where the weatherstripping goes. Also started stripping paint on bottom of trunk lid.

5-28-03: Stripped paint on very rear of car around tail-light spaces and where the “P-O-N-T-I-A-C” emblem goes. Also stripped paint on area in front of trunk lid. Tested the motor on the window that didn’t work on the 26th, and determined that the motor was bad. Removed the faulty motor.

5-26-03: Finished stripping paint on rear-passenger quarter-panel. We also stripped the paint on the trunk lid. Got the power windows working with exception to the rear window on the driver side.

5-21-03: Finished stripping paint on roof and stripped paint on about half of the passenger-side rear quarter-panel. So far the entire driver-side is stipped down with exception to the rocker-panel area. The driver-side door that is on the car is not stripped, but the replacement door is. The recently purchased hood is 99% stripped on the top, but still needs to be stripped on the bottom. The hood-scoop insert also needs to be stripped.
