| This trek explores the high country on the east side of Mount Hood. The trail leads to the top of Cooper Spur for great views of the deep crevasses of Elliott Glacier and snow covered summits of Mount Hood, Mount Adams, and Mount Rainer. But don't worry about climbing any snow routes-the most dangerous part of the trail is the degree snowfield far beyond where you'll be hiking, and high above this hike's turn around point. |
