Purple Haze I'm the purple haze in your eyes, And I stole the stars from your skies, I met your maker and shook her hand, And at my weakest I made a stand, I felt the light come from your heart, And felt the agony that once ripped it apart, I touched your hand and felt your soul, I put you together and made you whole, I wiped away your painful tears, Of past heartbreak and unforgiving years, Walking in the pouring rain, I'm soaking wet and swimming past the pain, I once drown in a sea of lies, It's not the water but the undertow I dispise, And through the darkness I see your light, That burns my heart and blinds my sight, And through the darkness I'll say goodbye, As I fade in the shadow a tear falls from my eye I smile through the darkened rays And fade into this purple haze.
