Being an "active" union member involves:
- Attending Local Membership Meetings
- Volunteering for Committees
- Volunteering to serve as a Steward
- Attending Educational Training Classes
- Learning the "Contract" (Master Agreement)
- Notifying a Steward or Officer if "Contract" violations occur
- Welcome New Members
- Become involved and help in your community
There are many means to serve in wonderful and diverse ways in which to contribute.
We can serve in unique and fulfilling rolls to make our Local stronger.
It is fun and educational, and helps unite us together into one powerful voice.
