The mission of Vernal Victim Advocacy Program is to assist crime victims and their families, in Uintah County. Our program is available to all victims of crime, [i.e., Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, Elder Abuse & Stalking]. Advocates provide clients with referrals to local and state agencies that offer crime victims a variety of support services.
The advocacy program cannot end violence and crime, however our advocates and volunteers strive to provide awareness and education in our community and with our clients, in a continued effort to reduce and one-day eliminate family violence. The advocacy program provides intervention and support to victims of violence. All calls are confidential and V.V.A.P. accepts collect calls as well as anonymous inquiries.
