As if I really needed to add a cat to my family! One Friday morning I was at work. The store had just barely open and there was already a customer standing outside waiting. I opened the door and she came in with this little teeny fur ball, also known as a one or two day old kitten. She had found it out in this woods area by the store. There was no mom around, but she could hear other babies too. She had no interest in trying to bottle feed the baby so I told her we would take care of it. I called my neighbor who had been bottle feeding a baby kitten and she immediately came to the store and picked this little baby up and took her home. The next day my neighbor called me at work. Feeling bad that she would not be able to continue caring for this baby. I told her to bring her back to me and I would take care of her until she was weaned and able to go to a good home. I had never bottle fed a kitten, or helped one go potty and all the other things required to raise a two day old kitten.
But I was willing to learn, and give it a try.
So here I am, with my fully weaned kitten (that was supossed to go to a new home)and adding her to my web page.
I sort of got attached to her. And could not give her up.
