Aviation Prep has updated and modified its Private Pilot Y2K course to meet the demands of lighting fast communications of the future. All of the questions are posted on the internet except for the AviPrep Final Exam which remains a controlled exam with access granted only to our enrolled students.

We will still correspond with snail-mail if you do not have a computer or access to the internet.

When you obtain your supplies for the PPGS course from Sporty's Pilot Shop that is listed on the Private Pilot web page, you will have all you need for this course except for the AviPrep Final Exam. The Academy will send the items you will need for the final exam once you enroll as a student with paid tuition, and progress to the block 9 phase of the course.

Completion of the AviPrep Final Exam will earn you a diploma and completion certificate for PPGS from the Aviation Prep Academy. With the certificate in your hand, you will be allowed to take the FAA Written Exam at a testing location near you.

The questions you are about to see on the 10 Block Exams are the exact FAA Written Exam questions.

When you actually take the FAA Written Exam for the Private Pilot Certificate, you will be given 60 multiple choice questions from the 713 questions that you will see in the 10 Block Exams. The 60 questions will be random and scattered so you need to study all of the subjects. You will need an 80% to pass the AviPrep Final Exam, and you will need a 70% to pass the FAA Written Exam.
