Since it was shown for the, what, third? time on Sunday, I decided to bring out arguably the most "interesting" idea I've had thus far. It's what ya might call a crossover filk. It's a duet. The original might best be described as "Dueling Divas."

Concerned as always about the musical education of the Abbey,

Scenario: In "Triangle," Agent Spender is a weasel. Later, after Mulder has been safely recovered, our intrepid agent fumes over the betrayal and toys with her options. For some inexplicable reason, Agent Scully breaks into an uncharacteristically violent song and is joined by another strong-willed redheaded TV heroine, Major Kira of DS9. Scientific explanations other than "well duh it was a dream" are currently being developed to account for this bizarre event.

"Tell Him," sung by Celine Dion & Barbra Streisand
is now "Shoot Him" sung by Dana Scully & Major Kira

(Scully)
I'm mad
So angry that I could scream
Spender thinks he's set
Should I make good on my threat?
Or what if
There's a patron who'd come after me?
Friends of our Jeffy?
I'd be hunted down
Over that damn clown
I don't know what to do

(Kira)
I've been there
With my weapon not on stun
But you need to use that gun
You can't let the chance
To kill him pass you by

(chorus, sung by both)
Then I shoot him
Shoot him cause the rat bastard
Deserves some pain
You did warn him
And whisper
"Told you not to mess with me"
Leave him bleeding; ignore his weak plea
Sometimes a girl just has to go off.

(Kira)
Thwack him
With the pent-up rage you cannot hide
Reprieve must be denied
The truth is still out there
You have been more than fair
To that snitching square.

(Scully)
I've loathed him
Since the day he got my job
I so want to make him sob
I can't let him get away
With the actions of today

(chorus by both)

(Scully)
Violence is not my usual thing
Nor do I usually sing
What a change revenge can bring.

(Kira)
You've put up with all his garbage for so long
(both, I think)
Tonight Jeff will receive his due
I have the strength to see it through
To kill Spender just cannot be wrong

Let your anger show...
