Well it's Agent Scully tossing out SREs
To her partner with bad weedwhacked hair
They have lost the X-Files to Fowley and Spud
No wonder they're cranky
Hey just look! the Syndicate's still on the move
Doing things to poor Gibson's brain
CSM takes him for a nice car ride
Beause the Project's sprung a leak

Scully looks to science while
Mulder says she's just plain wrong
And that something nasty was born on the couch

There's an oilien -- oilien by that door
And it's causing lots of blood loss, that's for sure

Agents head to Phoenix, breaking all sorts of rules
Then we see some guy with a wrench
He spies Oilien -- does he *want* to get dead?
Pokes it; body count goes up
But ooh! Gibson's there, in the back of the car
Dr. Scully takes control
Decides Gibson needs some real medical care
And oh !*$%, was that a ditch?

Fowley takes Fox to the plant
Seems to doublecross him good
And Spender's learning evil tricks from dear old Dad

And that oilien, oilien remains free
Gibson seems to read its mind -- hey, ESP?

Scully asks for Mulder's trust
Talks about junk DNA
Concludes we're all a bit extraterrestrial

There's an oilien, oilien -- it's no fool
And it's shedding skins which looks just real damn cool
