It's been some time down in Africa
Scully in a tank top and fine pushup bra
At work on the alien craft
Writing in her journal when she feels a strange draft
Armed with a machete -- cool!
Focused on what's been found in the tide pool
In the lamp, there's a weird man
But she'll go track him down (that is, if she even can).

Nerves on edge she surveys the sand
Her new weapon in hand
And next she's facing a big bug storm
Back in D.C. Fox crazy and chokes Skinner when he gets free
And AD wonders how to help out Fox; he's in fine form.

Barnes has Scully mad and a bit grim
Why not just hack him?
Because she's not into vengeance
Spacecraft means much to the doctor
He's off his rocker
But his threats to tell? They make sense.

Mulder's comatose but not so gross
Trip to the drugstore cuts it close
And how bout Skinner? He is taking major chances
Such a stand-up guy (with a swell tie)
But not so keen on telling lies
Cause of that Agent F. -- you know, the one who prances.

How can she stay so calm with locusts swarming in her tent
Trying hard to shrug off what the scene meant?
She's flown round the world for friendship and loyalty
Just wants to find him a cure
That's St. Scully
She has a history of memory loss (oh my God)
She has the kickass knack of standing up to jerks.

It's been some time on the Ivory Coast
Hard to say what thing shocks our Scully the most
The sea turned to blood at night?
Or finding the genome (Sandoz was right)
Or the scriptures they've transcribed with care
She's starting to think perhaps the truth is out there
But hold on, there's the doc on crack
And so they hang out and wait till she does the chair whack.

Chickadee chi-chis, it's Fowley snooping
While Mulder is looped she starts with the schmooping
Through all the scenes Mulder is stuck; she makes me upchuck
I wish that she were dead but no luck.

Like young Gibson Praise Mulder is psychic
Gosh that's a keen trick
Like always, Scully makes a major find.
Like biker chicks she wears leather
Well, not quite leather
But if she did I really wouldn't mind.

Gonna get a scene of fish in bag
Gonna try to care and not just gag (whatever)
Doctor gets all giddy; strangely they've been revived
Watch blade connect with driver's neck
Cause, man, that Barnes has got one heck of a test case
To yell real loud that "It's alive!"

How can she stand it when she's seeing guys who aren't there
Does it help that she has really great hair?
I'm the kind of phile who thinks all truths are for her
Well, I'll just pray that her trip is no blur
She has a history of memory loss (in the snow)
She has the kickass knack of getting things done.

It's been some time since a big stand-off
Walks through the FBI and confronts her boss
Won't hear that Fox can't be saved
And definitely not after all the crap she's just braved
Through tears she tells Fox hold on
She tells him of what she's found while she's been gone
As she speaks, takes his hand in hers
Now will it be too long till we get some answers?
