No one asks you to explain
I see the truth as my shield. As long as I tell the truth I feel that nobody can touch me. I can't really explain it, but I feel as long as I tell them my dark sides there is nothing they can dig up. If I don't hide anything there is nothing to be scared of.
If I listened to all the things that they sad to me I wouldn't be here, If I took the time to bleed from all the tiny arrows I wouldn't be here, The ones who don't do anything are always the ones to try to put you down, You could spend your entire life in the nowhere land of self doubt, Cause when you start to doubt yourself the real world will eat u alive. The more you own, the more it owns you.

A writer writes not because he is educated but because he is driven by the need to communicate. Behind the need to communicate, is the need to share. Behind the need to share, is the need to be understood. The writer wants to be understood much more than he wants to be respected or praised or even loved. And that perhaps is what makes him different from others. --Leo Rosten--
Forget money, forget power, Hell, forget sex, even. Stories make the world go 'round. Always have. Always will. (Brian Holguin)
Sometimes I look at this world and it moves me to tears. The joy and terror and the mad bloody terror of it all. And I wonder why THEY never seem to really see it. Maybe one lifetime isn't enough. Or maybe it's too much. I can't say.
And I think of poor, doomed ICARUS... the brash youth who flew too close to the sun and paid for that hubris with his life. His story is always told as a cautionary tale: 'Don't play with fire or you'll get burned.' But sometimes I think maybe everyone has missed the point. Maybe the whole point of the story is that Icarus gets to TOUCH the sun. And maybe that's worth crashing into the rocky coast of the Aegean.
"Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding." Kahlil Gibran The Prophet
Sometimes the best way to figure out who you are is to get to that place where you don't have to be anything else.
