Chop the lettuce and place on a large plate. Cook the macaroni and leave
to cool, stirring occasionally so that it doesn't stick together too much.
Add the ham, chopped into thin strips. Place over the bed of lettuce. Mix
the mayonnaise, mustard and creme fraiche. Add the chopped apple and pepper.
Spread over the macaroni. Sprinkle with grated parsley and decorate with
tomato and cucumber. Serve with bread and butter.
