Mum's Cold Tea Bread

- commonly called Fruit Loaf


(1 loaf)
2 dl Cold leftover tea
4 dl Soft brown sugar
2 dl Mixed dried fruit
4 dl Self raising flour  (or plain flour + 10 ml baking powder)


Soak the sugar and fruit in the cold tea for a few hours, preferably overnight. Add the egg and mix in the flour. Put into a greased loaf tin and bake for about 1 hour at 175 o C.


Serve in slices with butter.

Total time: 70 minutes
