JANUARY
THANK YOU!!THANKS!!

EDITOR NOTE: The TV show "SURVIVOR" was a huge hit this past summer. It could be silly at times, but nonetheless, millions of people watched!! There were a number of reasons some participants were voted off sooner than their cast mates -maybe they were just too much like their pets!!
TOP 10 REASONS YOUR PET WOULD BE VOTED OFF SURVIVOR ISLAND
10 Refuses to share flea powder.
9 Prances around camp buck-naked.
8 Eats the treasure map on the first day.
7 Uses entire beach as personal litter box.
6 Wolfs down meals, then begs from everyone else.
5 Screws up immunity challenges by refusing to go into the water.
4 No matter how many baths he takes, still smells like a "wet dog."
3 Runs off with the votes at the tribal council.
2 Howls all night at the full moon.
1 Does what he darn well pleases at home.
Why should he be any different on an island?

A great big thanks to MAUREEN LYDON & DEBBIE SHAW who worked hard to obtain all the donations for our Christmas Auction held at our annual party. The bidding wars went on and the Club raised $ 317.00 in donations. The money will be donated to the new Weber County Animal Shelter. Thank you to ALL MEMBERS who donated items and those brave souls who kept on bidding!! The potluck food was yummy and a fun time was had by all!!
LOST & FOUND
There was a cake pan & spoons left at the Christmas party. The pan had a Jell-O dessert in it. If these are your items, DEBBIE SHAW has them. You may contact her debsharli@juno.com or 435-734-1364.

TROPHY INFORMATION
EDITOR NOTE: I have once again included in newsletter for your convenience the form DARLENE SCOTT needs to have to order trophies for our upcoming Awards Banquet. Any questions, contact her at 732-1404.
AWARDS BANQUET
Mark your calendars!! We are still working on obtaining a location for our Awards Banquet to be held on Feb. 24. Also, if you know of a funny incident, embarrassing moment, etc. that we could recognize someone in jest, please contact DARLENE 732-1404. It's always fun to have a "pooper" or "vendetta" award so it's time to think back on 2000 happenings and shows!!

EDITOR NOTE: This sounds like a fantastic evening!! I am printing again just in case someone missed this info in Dec. newsletter!!
ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS!!!
You are all invited to join us for a fun evening of friends, food and magic. YES!! MAGIC!!
The Judge's Appreciation Banquet will be Jan. 27 @ 6:30 PM at the Comfort Suites Hotel (2250 S 1200 W Ogden, next to Cactus Red's). This is our club's opportunity to show the judges for our Point Show what a great club we have. Please show your support by coming out to enjoy this fun evening. You don't need to be involved in the show to come party with us. In fact, if you are not able to come to the show, all the better reason to come to the banquet to visit and enjoy a part of the nuance of the show.
The dinner will be a buffet of BBQ ribs and chicken. I have booked "the Magic of Eric Wanner and company", a great magician, who I can't wait to see. His web page is http://legerdemains.com/magicman/ in case anyone wants a sneak peak of what is in store for the evening. The price for a dinner and this show is quite a deal. The cost is only $16.50 per person. This includes gratuity, tax and the entertainment. Please send your money in before Jan. 25 to GSDOC, PO Box 13047, Ogden, UT 84412-3047, Attn: LAURIE SPEASE. Any questions, contact DANA PEVEY JcPevey@CS.com 546-1894. HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE!!
