Purging |

"I feel guilty." "It hurts my loved ones." Right. And so do I on occasion, but tell me truthfully, is it wrong to be who you are if no one gets hurt? Now if you were into raping people I'd say "Go to Hell and cut it out!", but crossdressing?? This is wrong how? You like the way you look in eyeliner, who does this hurt? Closet dresser, or a full out-on-the-town girl, it's the same thing. You enjoy something that causes no pain to anyone. Some people may act all offended and say they are hurt, but how? Did you smack them in the face with your falsies? Or are these people just so petty and shallow that they can't wrap their narrow little minds around the fact that not everyone enjoys the same thing. I don't like football, does that mean that you can't? Tell them to love you or bugger off. "It's not normal." *stifles an unlady-like snort* Neither is my hair color. But, ya know what? You aren't the only one. Even if you were, individuality and free will are God-given gifts. If you were gifted with the ability to migrate between genders, enjoy it to the fullest! "Normal" can suck my lilly-white ass. Be true to who you are and take nothing for granted. "Girls/Boys don't like it." Helllllooooo. Are you not actually reading this page then? If you've seen anything else in here you know that isn't true. In closing, purging is silly. You'll always go back, you can't deny who you are. Even if you could, why lie to yourself? I work at an adult video store and every day I see people who are in denial about or uncomfortable with their sensuality. I feel pain every time I see this. At ground zero, you are the only one you'll hurt doing this. If you have to purge, don't throw everything away. Box it up, give it to a trusted friend, and give yourself a breather. I've watched people recover from a purge and it is arduous at best. So listen to your heart, not the din of the "moral majority". You are you and that is precious. |
