Also known as Grandma and Grandpa Choocho.

Welcome to our home page.

We hope you enjoy what we are sharing with you.

Included here, will be some of my favorite recipes. My Mum and Dad had always been in the food business of some kind, from Dad baking bread and Parker House rolls for famous eastern restaurants when we lived in Massachusetts, to having their own "New England Cupboard" restaurant later on in Southern California. They never actually taught me how to cook or bake but I think I think I must have learned it by process of osmosis!

Also, I am really hooked on cemeteries! I believe that the stones that have been errected are remaining works of art that are still in their original form and place from our ancestors. So much can be learned from them about our families. I have included the cemetery article in my pages that I had presented during my time of being involved with genealogy seminars. I sincerely hope that you take the time to click on the link and enjoy what is written there.

I also hope, that you will find comfort in my poems, laughs with family memories and a full tummy in amongst my pages of recipes. You may feel free to reprint what you find here, but please put my name as the author and where you also found it. I would also appreciate if you asked me first if you could link to any of my pages.

I love being a grandma! I was a single parent for 12 years raising my four children and I missed out so much of their growing up years. Now that I am a grandma, I am making up for those beautiful moments that I missed with my kids, with the grandkids. We have twelve now and all are under 22 at this point in time. David and his wife, Jeanne, just adopted a brand spanking new baby girl, Katie-Lynn! They are all so different and so very special in their own ways and what a joy to be with them. I love having them spend the night...we read stories, bake bread, color pictures, play Chinese checkers and just truly enjoy each other. We joke about being able to "hunker down" in grandma's feather bed

My sweetie, Raymond, and I have been married for 24 years now and he is a wonderful Grandpa to all of the kids. He has been so good to my children. He didn't have any of his own and boy did he learn in a hurry when he came into our home! We even ended up by having 8 different foster children also for a short time. He was a widower with no children and I was a divorcee with 4 when we married.

Thank you for reading my ramblings, and may you have rich blessings throughout your life and as my Dad always said, "Happiness is priceless...yet costs nothing."

Please sign my guest book and let me know that you were here, and what you thought of my pages.
