"Behold I will send you Elijah the Prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers."

To those who believe that life continues after death, and families can be forever, the last verse of the Old Testament seems to be fulfilled in our time with the incredible interest in genealogy and family history. Indeed, the "hearts of the children" are turning to their fathers - genealogy is fast becoming the most popular hobby in the world.

My own journey into family history began many years ago when I was living in Australia. Two young men from Utah knocked on my door and among other things showed me that verse from the Bible, telling me that it was being fulfilled, and inviting me to become a part of that movement.

Born in Canada, I thought my ancestors were from England. Much to my surprise, genealogical research showed that they migrated from France to what would become Canada, in the mid 1600's. They started a family that now numbers in the tens of thousands in North America.

There are thousands of excellent family history resources on and off the Internet, most of them free. My purpose in creating this webpage is not to compete, but with the hope that maybe I can reach someone whose heart is "turned" but who hasn't yet started down the road. With that in mind, I've included only a few links to demonstrate that help is immediately available for anyone who is interested in tracing their roots.

You are welcome to email comments or questions - I'd love to hear from you.

My wife Beverly and I have moved from St. George, Utah to Cherokee Village, Arkansas. We're still working for a living - we buy and sell real estate. You are welcome to visit our commercial website, I've installed a link near the bottom of this page.
