Only Keats -- Title

Volume One, Issue One                                                                 December/January 1999-2000

This page is dedicated to the memory of my mother. She lived her life as if she could make a difference, and when she left this world it was better than she found it.

Everywhere

Stillness, soft hushed noises
My spirit soars
Excitement lends its hand
Enthralling, beautifying,
     cleansing
Peace again lures
Heart thoughts gallantly
     unfolding
hope for all time.

This poem was found in one of my mother's notebooks several years after her death. It was written in her distinctive hand and preserved for our enjoyment.

Welcome to the premier edition of Only Keats Online Poetry Magazine.
Our goal is to bring a reliable and free poetry service to the internet. We have a reading area where you will find works from the classical poets, and an area where you will be introduced to the work of modern poets.
Each issue will feature original poetry and feature articles about the art of words. We will examine the work of classical poets such as John Keats, Walt Whitman, William Shakespeare and many more.
The magazine will be published bi-monthly and available the first Monday of the month.
Although the current issue will be updated only six times per year, our archives will be updated frequently. Check back often, and don't miss any of our special features throughout the year.

John Keats
(1795-1821)

John Keats lived a short yet prolific literary life. He was orphaned as a child, but was able to see the beauty around him as he made his short journey to death. We can learn much about the beauty of this life, and the beauty of this world through the works of John Keats.
