Tom Kane
I was a bit hesitant to put up a page for Tom Kane, as I am not familiar with the majority of his work (and the fact that I’m a major procrastinator), but he won out in the end.
Mr. Kane is the exceedingly talented man behind some memorable and diverse characters. He does a marvelous job as Professor Utonium, Him (also from the Powerpuff Girls), Oxnard Montalvo (Angry Beavers), Dante (Team Knight Rider), and Gene Vuuck (Duckman). However, my favorite Tom Kane character remains Darwin of Wild Thornberrys fame. There’s just something about this neurotic little chimp that draws me to him. And, knowing me, it’s probably his voice.
Mr. Kane is perfect for announcer roles, as demonstrated by his work as Oxnard. And, let me tell you, I was quite pleased with myself when I correctly identified him as, well, Him. It took me a while, but I finally got it.
