Ah, Jake. What can one say about this adorable little Australian kangaroo rat? Well, he's adorable, for starters. And he's got a lovely accent (am I pathetic, or what?) And he's a terrible flirt. Generally not my type, but [blush] I can see why Miss B was a little distracted.

But he's a nice guy - he does at least check that she and Bernard aren't a couple before he turns it on full-force. So he doesn't get the many hints that Berno drops. What he lacks in the art of subtlety, he makes up for in essential outback skills. He can tame a snake, navigate the outback (and an albatross), and, well, lose pretty spectacularly in a game of checkers.

Did I mention that he is adorable?
