Varsity Tomahawks reach Super Bowl While still basking in the glow of the Warriors recent victory against league rival Taft, the Varsity Tehachapi Youth Football team sweetened the pot even more after a pair of thrilling playoff wins, defeating the Farest Titans 28-0 and winning the conference championship with a victory over the Southwest Mustangs, 36-26. By claiming the two victories, the Tomahawks (9-1) earned the right to complete for the Golden Empire Youth Football (GEYF) Super Bowl in the varsity division against the Farwest Freedom (10-0) falling in a hard fought 18-16 defeat. The Tomahawk win over Southwest had high drama, with Tehachapi shutting out Southwest 13-0 in the regular season along with the 62-point shootout that ended conference win. Southwest has been the perennial power in the GEYF southern conference since their inception in 1998, registering seven conference championships in 11 years. The last time Tehachapi won a GEYF conference championship was 2002, when the junior varsity Tomahawks took both the conference and overall league titles. Also, for the first time in seven years, all four levels of Tehachapi Youth Football earned a playoff berth in the GEYF, with each team entering the playoffs with at least a no.4 seed. Refund Policy If a player quits or is cut prior to uniforms being issued, a refund may be obtained for registration fees, minus $15.00. There will be no refunds to anyone once uniforms are issued on July 25th. All transactions are final, no refunds will be made after this date.

A "Tomahawks" rummage sale will take place this summer. If you would like to donate items, please save them for now. More information will be available later.
TOMAHAWK Team Room
Don't forget to visit the "Tomahawk Team Room" at the Benz-Visco Youth Football Fields for items such as cups, t-shirts, hats and more. You can also view some "Tomahawk History" in the facility, located next to the Snack Bar. The Team Room will be open at various times during spring drills, practices, games and other events.
