American History Internet Resources

The goal of this site is to provide students in college-level American history survey courses with electronic resources that will be useful for research and study.

A well-researched project includes material from a variety of primary and secondary sources, including books, journals, manuscripts, photographs, maps, etc. There is a vast amount of this material available online. This site provides links to a small sample of these sites.

Some of the links provided are geared strictly to American history, or history in general. Others have a broader focus but have been reviewed carefully before being added to this site.
