The first few pictures show the moped in the condition it was in when it was bought, the engine was fine but the brakes werent very good and it was carrying too much weight.

After a few days of work the moped has changed quite a lot, it is now almost completely stripped, the engine and rear wheel are finished, the front end is awaiting angle grinding and a paint job, the front brakes need to be sorted out, the fuel tank and exhaust need to be prepped and painted and the undertray needs to be cut back.

As i mentioned earlier, the moped needs to be lightened, this is being done by lightening the brake shoes, drum brake plate, all unecessary wires and components removed from the wiring loom and the frame lightened by cutting off unecessary parts.

More pics to follow as work progresses :

Rear brake shoes before :- weight = 125 grams Rear brake shoes after :- weight = 100 grams
