WHY POLICE OFFICER MICHAEL HARDY would rather be terminated than take a polygraph test about the events surrounding the death of Jim Minor Homes Security Guard James Aguerro? We were told that Hardy had agreed to take the test, then refused, and was terminated. Hardy's brother Jeffrey has turned in his notice and is leaving the Police Department. We believe their departure will help the department; HOWEVER, WITH THE RESIGNATION OF OFFICER KEITH, that means we have far less than 30 certified police officers in the patrol division to guard the entire City!!!!
WHY with the shortage of officers, TRUSTBUILD IS NOT CLOSED DOWN SO THAT THE OFFICERS ASSIGNED THERE COULD BE PUT OUT ON THE STREETS? How utterly ridiculous that we do not have enough patrol officers; yet,we have officers acting as CHAUEFFERS FOR THE MAYOR'S RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN-Trustbuild!
WHY POLICE CHIEF JIMMY MARTIN is still the Police Chief? Maybe HIS CHURCH AND CHILDREN DID NOT NEED HIM AS MUCH AS HE SAID IN HIS RESIGNATION LETTER? As long as Martin remains Chief, THE MESS IN THE SPD WILL NEVER BE CLEANED UP!
WHY JIMMY MARTIN has ordered himself 2 full Sergeant's uniforms at taxpayer's expense? We hope he looks better in them than he does in his Idi Amin outfit. However, if his church and children need him as badly as he said, HE DOESN'T NEED TO GO BACK TO BEING A SERGEANT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT-which is his and Perkins' plan for Martin!
WHY KENDALL THOMAS IS STILL a Selma Police Officer? By being a snitch for Chief Martin, THOMAS HAS MANAGED TO ALIENATE NEARLY EVERY OFFICER HE WORKS WITH. In fact, we are told that no one wants to work with him. Thomas should go ahead and find another job BECAUSE we are certain that the next Chief will be getting rid of him!
