WINNIE MANDELA: ADULTERER, THIEF, MURDERER AND COMMUNIST

Of all the unsavory people Rose Sanders has invited to Selma and held up to our young people as a hero, the VERY WORST IS WINNIE MANDELA, an adulterer, thief, murderer and communist.
WINNIE AS ADULTERER: While her terrorist husband, Nelson Mandela, was imprisoned for blowing up a train, a bombing which killed a number of women and children, Winnie was having a torrid love affair with one of her bodyguards. When Nelson was released from prison, he and Winnie seperated in 1992 over the long running affair and were divorced in 1996.
WINNIE AS THIEF: In 2003, Winnie was convicted of 43 counts of fraud and 25 counts of theft as was her broker. They were charged with taking money from loan applicant's accounts for a funeral fund. She was given a three year and six year sentence which was suspended.
WINNIE AS MURDERER: In one of her more controversial actions in 1985, Winnie endorsed the horrible practice of neck lacing against her enemies. This is the practice of tying a tire filled with gasoline around an individual's neck and setting the tire of fire, burning the person to death.
In Winnie's most infamous act, one of her bodyguards on the Winnie Mandela Football Team accused her of ordering the kidnapping and murder of 14 year old Stompie Moeketsi in 1989. Stompie and three other boys were kidnapped by Winnie's bodyguards from the home of a Methodist minister, taken to Winnie's house, beaten, and the next morning Stompie was found dead. Winnie was convicted of kidnapping and being an accessory to assualt and sentenced to six years in prison, which was reduced to a fine on appeal.
To South Africa's Trust and Reconciliation Hearings presided over by Bishop Tutu, more than 30 people testified that Winnie had ordered the deaths of Stompie and others whom she considered her enemies. In her own testimony, after being urged by Bishop Tutu to confess her crimes and sin, Winnie would only say that "things went terribly wrong".
WINNIE AS COMMUNIST: Everyone knew that both Nelson and Winnie Mandela were communist or communist sympathizers as the leaders of the communist African National Congress. For the past few years, Winnie had been a leader of the ANC's Women's Congress.
This is the woman that Rose Sanders brings to our city and holds up to our young people as a heroine to be imitated. What a disgrace!!! And what a tragedy that Nomzamo Winified Zanyiwe Madikizda (Winnie Mandela) should be welcomed in this city!
