How much more can Wal-Mart take before packing up and leaving?
Saturday, 1-13-07, at approximately 1:00 in the afternoon, Wal-Mart was forced to evacuate the building because of a bomb threat. This is only one of several bomb threats Wal-Mart has had to bear.
How much longer will Wal-Mart tolerate the losses from customer and employee theft?
How much longer will they put up with their customers purses being snatched in the parking lot?
How much longer can they go through the fights INSIDE and outside their store?
The first, and only, Wal-Mart to ever close was in Tuskegee, AL. WHY? You guessed it! The same reasons as what is happening to Wal-Mart in this inclusive City of Selma.
Wal-Mart is a leader in sales tax collections in this City. Sales tax is 62% of the money this City recieves to pay operating expenses. Wal-Mart will not give this City notice they are closing.
If these situations are not handled by this City, one morning we will find the front doors locked and trucks loading in the back.
How much more will Wal-Mart take? This website doesn't know but you can bet Wal-Mart management does!
