THAT the city's insurance carrier decided to pay Rose Sanders $20,000 for the altercation that Rose caused in city court a few years ago....and that after one of the insurance companies attorneys wrote the city that he believed the Statute of Limitations had run out before Rose filed her claimed....this cost the City taxpayers $5000 as that is the city's deductibles on insurance claims.
THAT WHILE THE CITY IS PAYING Rose a bogus claim, the City is also cutting the grass FREE at a number of the Sanders' property in town and hoping they will repay the city. Don't anyone hold your breathe until they pay!...and if that is not enough, the sanders won't fix up their dilapidated property, especially the old house on Broad Street next to the carpet store, so now the City has had to write them a letter threatening to condemn the property....if ever there were two irresponsible citizens in Selma who contribute to the regression of the City it is Hank and Rose Sanders.
THAT HATE RADIO 105.3 CONTINUES to keep industry from coming to Selma. If everything HATE RADIO said about public officials were true and some industry heard their mean spirited, evil and hateful tone, the industry would head to Prattville or Montgomery. WE ARE CALLING ON HANK SANDERS TO EITHER RESIGN FROM TEAM SELMA (which seeks to get industry) OR SELL HIS INTEREST IN HATE RADIO (WHICH KEEPS INDUSTRY OUT OF SELMA). We do not see how he can have it both ways....and DOES ANYONE ON TEAM SELMA HAVE THE YOU KNOW WHATS TO CONFRONT SANDERS ABOUT THIS???
THAT THE DISGRACED, DEFEATED AND HATEFUL Johnnie Leashore continues to try to cheat his brother, Calvin, out of Calvin's part of the inheritance from their brother, Bogart. we hear that Commissioner Albert Turner now has a copy of Bogart's will, WHICH IT IS BELIEVED JOHNNIE LEASHORE FORGED, and will be exposing Johnnie what he HAS ALWAYS BEEN- a petty thief who WOULD CHEAT HIS OWN BROTHER.
THAT POLICE CHIEF RILEY has begun attending the Mark Duke's cult church, Selma Community Church. We knew that Riley had hired 3 of the cult members, Matt Skelton, Cody Clark and Kelli Brunson, to be Police officers and that he had participated in some of the RATS theatre productions, but we are disappointed that he is reported to be attending the cult's church. We are disappointed because we have actually been impressed with the professional manner in which Riley and his officers have handled the disruption at the Council meetings caused by Rose and her cohorts from the CULT.
THAT PASTOR RONALD SMITH OF THE CULT'S CHURCH HAS SENT HIS SON - BEN - to Colorado to live with Mike and Nicole Black, SO THAT BEN CAN NOT BE QUESTIONED BY THE POLICE IN CONNECTION WITH A SEXUAL ASSAULT WHICH REPORTEDLY TOOK PLACE AT THE CULT'S CHURCH IN EARLY JUNE- what kind of example is this for a PASTOR to set.... to send one son to live with Cult Leader Mark Duke in Georgia and to send the other son to live with cult members in Colorado...CAN'T ANY CHRISTIANS SEE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE????
