The incompetents who run the Selma Water Works are now TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WEST DALLAS WATER SYSTEM!! We ask people living along Hwy 80, Landline Road, Orrville, and Safford, DO YOU WANT PERKINS, CRENSHAW, AND LEASHORE RUNNING YOUR WATER COMPANY? If not, you had better speak up..and soon! Call the members of the West Dallas Water Board and tell them we do not want Selma Water Works to take over our water system!
Remember the illegal salaries members of the Selma Water Board are receiving? Because of these illegal salaries and other actions by the Board, water rates in Selma have increased 60% in the past 4 years AND ARE SCHEDULED TO RISE EVERY YEAR FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS... that is what people presently served by the West Dallas Water will be enduring if the contract to run West Dallas Water is awarded to the Selma Water Works.
The company presently running West Dallas Water will no longer be running it. The contract to run it is being put out for bids. Selma Water Works is bidding on the contract to run West Dallas Water.
Do the people on the West Dallas Water system know what will happen if the contract is awarded to the Selma Water Works? Perkins will hire MORE of his cronies to run it! Water rates WILL DEFINITELY INCREASE because he has shown he can not operate anything on current revenues; He ALWAYS will have to have more money!! AND IF THE PEOPLE PERKINS HAS HIRED TO WORK IN CITY HALL ARE ANY INDICATION OF THE KIND HE WILL HIRE TO RUN WEST DALLAS WATER, THE WATER SYSTEM WILL BE IN A MESS RUN BY INCOMPETENTS WITHIN 6 MONTHS!!!!!
Also, we want to know why a government entity, like Selma Water Works, should be in competition with privately owned businesses who pay taxes and who will be bidding on this contract??

People on the West Dallas Water system; ARISE AND SAY NO TO THIS POWER GRAB BY THE SELMA WATER WORKS!!! CALL THE MEMBERS OF THE WEST DALLAS WATER SYSTEM TODAY AND TELL THEM NOT TO LET SELMA WATER WORKS TAKE OVER OUR WATER SYSTEM!!!
