"I Ain't Coming Back No Moe!"
says the Louisiana man.

A recent victim was quoted as saying,"I would rather face a hurricane in Louisiana then the room service in Selma."

A source in the police department has brought this website a disturbing incident and trend in Selma crime. On July 18th 2006, approximately 9:00 pm, a man from Louisiana, employed by the railroad, was relaxing in room 117 at the local Ramada Inn. A knock was heard at the door. Opening it, with the security chain attached, he encountered 2 black youth yelling, "Give it up!". At that time a third youth joined them with a sawed-off shotgun, the barrel wrapped in rags and duct tape, a homemade silencer of sorts. The gun was then stuck through the crack on the door in a effort to terrify the man into removing the chain and letting them in. The victim lunged against the door, grabbed the barrel of the gun, and held on FOR HIS LIFE. After several minutes and more than enough profanity, the assailants managed to wrestle the gun from the grip of the victim and run.

Police report on file concerning this incident and other victims of similar type crimes.

This man's actions and conversation leads this website to believe that he or anyone he tells will never come to Selma again, that crime is increasing, and that the criminals have found another tactic for victimizing the citizens of and visitors to Selma.

The local newspaper, local radio, or local television station did not cover this tragic incident. The Police Department and local news media in Selma must feel that if it's out of sight it didn't happen.

Keeping the citizen's heads stuck in the sand so they will not know what is really happening in their city is the game they choose to play.

This website will inform you even though others have chosen not to.
