MORE MUSINGS IN RIVER CITY
7-14-08

TrustBuild Police Officer Carlos Jones was caught using his city police car to deliver campaign signs for Ward 4 candidate ANGELA BENJAMIN. We have been assured that this will not happen again; however, it is just another reason that TrustBuild needs to be scaled back in the coming budget and then abolished. We hope the new council will have the backbone to dismantle this Perkins campaign organization.

Speaking of the Perkins campaign organization, it appears that Mark Duke and the Freedom Foundation HAVE LOST MUCH COMMUNITY SUPPORT BECAUSE OF THEIR OPEN SUPPORT OF PERKINS FOR MAYOR. We hear that one of their local board members resigned over this partisan political activity. The rumor is that the Duke's Real Talk Radio Show may be renamed the Perkins for Mayor hour, as they spend a couple of hours each week promoting Perkins.

We commend the Selma Times-Journal for continuing to write about the missing money in the Police Department. Were it not for the STJ and questions by Councilman Cecil Williamson, this missing money issue would have been swept under the rug long ago. We doubt that this matter has been turned over to the Attorney-General and actually think city officials are lying when they say it has. The money WAS STOLEN. It is just a matter of determining who in the department stole it!

We also want to know if the Mayor's Executive Assistant, Mrs. Darlene Rudolph, has changed her voting place to Valley Grande where she now lives...or does she intend to continue to vote illegally in the city using her former name and former address. IF PERKINS TOLERATES THIS KIND OF ILLEGALITY IN HIS TOP ASSISTANT, WHAT ELSE WILL HE DO TO GET RE-ELECTED....and all the while, Mr. Mark Duke, the Christian, supports someone who approves of this illegal voting activity.

We are pleased that much of the community now understands what the Freedom Foundation is. As we get permission from those who have forwarded us emails from their personal experiences, we will be printing some of the terrible things the Foundation has caused including breaking up marriages and turning children against their own parents. We have much correspondence in our possession between husbands and former wives and between parents and alienated children, and are waiting the proper time and permission to print these.

Beware of and be aware of the PERKINS SLATE OF CANDIDATES:
