King Perkins called out of order by President Evans. He (PerkinsP) tried to start political and personal vindictiveness against Councilman Cain. The Mayor has constantly attempted to discredit Cain because the questions Cain asks are above the King's intelligence level. Kudos to President Evans.
Called trash-talking Crenshaw out of order when she intervened for the King. Another Kudo for President Evans.
Budget passed; increased expenditures but sharp decline in population and services.
No mention of surplus or deficit from last audit. Last year the King gloated about a supposed surplus, but this time there was no mention of it. Accountant Evaluation says we have over $950,000.00 deficit.
Mayor's election team, TrustBuild, funded in new budget...Must be an election year.
Attempt by "Constituent" Leashore (commonly referred to as the Village Idiot by one of our readers) to saddle Councilmembers Cain and Williamson with expenses incurred in the audit because of questions that could not or would not be answered by the King.
Mayor includes the Freedom Foundation as part of the governmental body for the Youth Town Hall Meeting. Who are these people? The Mayor must believe in communal cultism! Something stinks!
Mayor admits on Viewpoint that if we didn't get the bond, which he is pushing to get, our taxes would go down. Getting a bond for traffic light cameras and a movie theater is lame. What does he really want with this bond? Election funds?
Caller on Viewpoint told the King that if she had to spend four more years under him as mayor, she would lose everything she had.
The King told the public there was one day each year designated as "Open Door" to his office. Is this man insane or so obsessed with the power of holding a public office that he denies those that elected him to only have 1 day per year they can talk to him?? Does he live in a Wonderland??
Doubletalk was the key ingredient in all of his answers.
