Teenager-A person from thirteen to nineteen years old inclusive

Do you know what a Teenager is? There has been much speculation and guessing on this subject, with everything from the music we listen to and the clothes we wear to the food we eat and our political views being used to try to gain an insight into our strange minds. There is one group, however, who are never asked. Does it ever occur to anyone that we know better than anyone what it's like to be a teenager? It's strange, it's fun. Everyone has been there, but no one seems to remember what it was like. I was happily surprised to find that there are rare cases of adults who have never been cured of teenage optimism and rebellion, but these are either very well hidden or they are a rare and dying breed. Anyway, the question is not "how can we make the adult world of today understand us better?". It lies with the teenagers of today to stop and look around themselves. Crazy as it may sound, I believe that the salvation of the world lies not with Government systems, but with the rebels and the teenage louts reeling drunkenly up the street without a care in the world. Looking objectively, some day pretty soon they'll all be dead and it will be us who are in charge, the young people who ACTUALLY know what is going on and how the world works. So this is an appeal. A hopeful dream that if you have put up with my shouting so far then you will see what i mean when i say DON'T FORGET HOW TO HAVE FUN!!!!!! It's the only thing that will save us.
