This is the fourth picture of this batch that I think is amazingly beautiful. I am proud of the way I captured more stained glass in Notre Dame.
This is the semi-top of Notre Dame, I think only 7 winding medieval staircases up. There is metal grating all over so that there is no way to fall off the side because apparently there have been numerous suicides, and at least once the person jumping killed someone on the ground. Now there is no way down, which is actually comforting to know when you are high up there.
Notre Dame offered an incredible view of the entire city, and I did my best to capture it all. Sacrecoeur is off in the distance of this one but the colors make it hard to see. The following pictures are going to be of the entire city and of the Notre Dame gargoyles overlooking it.
A view of Paris, the Seine, and the Eiffel Tower.
A gargoyle and the city.
I think someone leaned into the grate, making it move slightly, when I was taking this picture and the flash reflected off the metal, making the photo eh.
Same thing.
This picture is much more characteristic of Nick's not very photogenic-ness. In other words, it doesn't really look like him and it's... not very good... (no offense, Nick). We got an American to take it for us!
Same thing.
Me and some statues and gargoyles over the back of Notre Dame.
