Numerology is the study of symbol, cycle, and vibration. The exact orgin of numerology is buried within the mists of time. The study began with man's earliest attempt to understand the relationship between self and the cosmos. In history numbers were significant in the Sanskrit of the ancient Hindu culture. Modern numerology evolutionized itself with the influence of the A rabic system of numbers. Kabala tradtion also influenced numerology.
The person responsible for the method of numerology used today was Pythagoras, a Greek philosopher born between 600 and 590BC. Pythagoras developed a school where music, mathematics, astronomy, and philosophy was taught. He taught the relationship between man and the divine laws by using mathematics of numbers.
Numerology provides a way of understanding cyclical patterns or qualities related to a persons personal life. By understanding one's own particular rhythm, it becomes easier to flow with life. Using this understanding one can become a master of fate.
