I made it back to Conway at
approximately 9:33pm last night, and
Jacksonville before noon today.
post pictures, stories, recaps, and maybe a
summary of what the fuck I've really just done
when I find and feel the momentum.

Stopped outside Amarillo at a state park (Lake
McClellan) the first night, went through
Lubbock, El Paso and Juarez to end up at
another state park (Caballo Lake) the second
night, Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque the third
night, a camp site at the Grand Canyon after
that, and last night here in Vegas at Melanie's
place after she and her sister Robyn took us on
a tour of Vegas.
It's off to Death
Valley and the rest of California from here.

Was looking through my bookmarks and came
across this interesting fellow I know nothing
about, but thought some thing or the other was
cool about his LJ way back when.
Read up a bit about his recent history, and
it turns out he was supposed to play some show
with Danzig. That's pretty cool? Right? I
guess. But some scheduling errors or bands not
having their stuff together forced the opening
bands to forfeit their slots because Danzig
wanted to start playing exactly when he said he
Sounds right on so far.
And, to show how much of a nice guy he
is, Danzig even says that the openers could go
on and play after Danzig's set.
However, after Danzig's set, the venue turns
on the lights, Danzig's road crew immediately
starts taking down the stage apart, and what do
we know, the crowd probably evaporates.
Now it gets interesting.
friend is pissed about how things turned out
and decides to do something about it. He goes
back to where Danzig is signing autographs and
lets him know he doesn't care for his rockstar
attitude. Danzig, offended and ego-bruised in
front of all the people, gets pissed. Danzig
says "fuck you, motherfucker!" and pushes the
But is our boy going to take
that? Fuck naw.
He rears back and
unleashes an ungodly right hook and Danzig
crumbles to the floor!
Now could you
imagine being there to see that shit?
No? Well, brace yourself and enjoy...
The file is named danzig_beatdown!
Too funny. And I'm not condoning violence,
but it's goddamn funny to see Danzig's buff ass
get knocked to the ground in one hit like that.
And the girl in the background,
nagging, "kick his ass..."
